Spinning is a part of textile manufacturing process where fibres are converted into yarn. These fibres can be natural fibres or manmade fibres. Spinning is the foundation process and all the subsequent value additions i.e. Weaving, Knitting, Processing, Garments etc, depend on it. Any variation in quality of spinning product directly affects the entire value chain.
Static generation is commonly known phenomenon in high speed textile process such as spinning, weaving etc. Static accumulation not only interfere with several processes but also result in electrical shocks. To prevent or reduce processing problem due to static build-up, it is of utmost importance to incorporate additives which act as antistatic agents. Anti-Static agents are chemical additives used for treatment of yarn or their surfaces in order to reduce or eliminate build up of static electricity. Its role is to make the surface or the material itself slightly conductive, either by being conductive itself, or by absorbing moisture from the air.

Dye levellers are used to provide uniform & level dyeing to yarn & fabrics. Oligomers are short chain length of polyester (dimers or trimers) produced during manufacture of polyester. These oligomers in the form of a fine powder migrate to the surface during high temperature polyester dyeing. Oligomer deposits lead to unlevel dyeing, duller shades, dusting during coning and choking of spindles. Dye leveller cum oligomer burster have been developed by Trident Chemical to eliminate oligomers from the fibre surface and prevent their deposition on the machines, thus aid in uniform dyeing.
